HI Bebet, I knew the girl that operated Kurbada back then... I was wondering what had happened to her.... It's been a long time since we communicated. She was from Centro Norte and the family name is Magkilat. We met in 1999 when I was passing through Culasi on my bike... Long story really... Have you heard of the family? They lived next to the highway just before the river bridge going into Culasi.
Somewhere I've got some photos of Pungko and me climbing Madja-as. Maybe I could send them to you? I stayed in his house for a few nights. I always remember drinking the native coffee there... Masarap!!!! Best wishes, Rob

Hi Bebet, thanks for the message!!! Sounds like you had a great time in Culasi!!! I've never tried diving myself... biking and hiking are my things really. Do you know how Punko is these days? The last time I had any communication with him was in 2001. My unfulfilled ambition is to get to the summit of Madja-as one day, possibly next year... Last time I was in Culasi I used to ride my mountain bike from the poblacion to Flores.

Hi Bebet, Just wanted to introduce myself... The last time I was in Culasi was 2001. Me and two other guys from Flores spent 3 nights on Madja-as. We were attempting to get to the summit but the wind and rain beat us. We had a fantastic time though!!!
